About Us

It is the human nature to treat other lives as his own life and treat them as his own suffering with compassion and seek to eliminate pain. "ANIMAL CARE TRUST" which has been operating for the past 15 years in Tondiarpet, Chennai, is a home for the distressed animals. Our journey started with 10 animals, and now we are cooking more than 80 kg of food everyday for 200 animals in our home and more than a hundred animals living in our area.
In addition, we are providing medical treatment and rehabilitation for dogs and cats which get hit by vehicles on the road and suffer from loss of limbs and eyesight. We also take animals that die in road accidents to cemetery and cremate them respectfully.
Although a few good souls have come forward to help for this noble cause, it has largely been run by the personal efforts of Kala Kubendran. This NGO was started looking at the plight of the wounded animals on the road and the animals that fight in the garbage with no food to eat and survive. But now due to financial distress, we need your help to continue this mission of serving these voiceless beings. They need your help!
