"Kala has been a relentless rescuer of injured and orphaned animals for many many years. She has been a patron of Paws and Claws since 2017. During the past 7 years she has provided treatment to more than 5000 animals and more than 1000 ABCs. She never turns away from any animal in need no matter what state it is in. She believes that every animal under her care should get the best possible medical care and makes sure all are vaccinated, dewormed, given Bravecto as well as spayed and neutered. Apart from taking care of the animals in her shelter, hundreds of stray animals are also being fed by her every day. Kala and her husband Kubendran have truly dedicated their lives to the welfare of these animals."

"I can't express enough gratitude for Kala and Kubendran's tireless dedication at their animal shelter. Their selflessness shines through as they provide a safe haven for over 200 dogs and 30 cats, all of whom are rescued and in need of love and care. Despite facing challenges like inadequate sleeping and cooking spaces, Kala and Kubendran prioritize the well-being of these precious animals above all else. Their unwavering commitment to their cause is truly inspiring, and our volunteer group is honored to support their noble efforts. We spent multiple weekends petting dogs and cleaning. Kala and Kubendran's shelter is a beacon of hope for animals in need, and we are proud to stand by them in their mission to make the world a better place, one paw at a time."
